Let us begin this story by saying that we attempted tosell our home by advertising in localnewspaper. We did have several inquiries from peoplethat were interested in our home, but during the shorttime we had, we were unsuccessful in selling our homeourselves.
On February 2, 2003, Mrs. Liz Merryman came to ourhome and listed our home.

We had no idea even how to start the process of buying a house.We were driving around neighborhoods and looking at the Real Estate booklets that would come out.I would call and ask Liz a million questions.Liz was always patient in answering, even giving me many other options to look at.
Liz gave us information on financing possibilities which we didn't even know existed.Step by step, she walked us through the process, always encouraging.
When we found our house, Liz met us and counseled us on placing a bid and signing a contract.We signed in the back seat of her van and I was soooo nervous.It was a good thing we did, because there were others who placed bids also.Our bid was accepted by the skin of our chinny chin chin.But Liz was there, calming and reassuring us the whole time.
We had one other dilemma.Mark needed to sell his little house in Pollock; we couldn't afford two house notes.Liz handled the sale of his house.We were able to close on the sale of his house just one week after closing on our new home.All done from start to finish in 4 weeks.
We were married one month later right there in our new little yard under the Chinaberry tree.It was a day to remember and it was made extra special because our real estate agent went out of her way many times to see that our plans and dreams were made a reality.
